A party celebration in the early days of Kidsfirst Templeton

Since it opened in the 1980’s, generations of local children have enjoyed the kindergarten’s outdoor areas and close community feel. As these more rural kindergartens have established themselves within their surroundings, they have developed their own distinctive personalities.

Templeton is extremely connected and respectful of the nearby environment and frequently visits the nearby Te Waihora/Lake Ellesmere. Learning about the relationship we have with the land is one of the priorities of the kindergarten.

Fun in the sun was the order of this day at Kidsfirst Templeton.

Smiles and kai, what more could a happy child want? One of our kindergarten excursion in the eighties.
