Kidsfirst, from the beginning, believed in having exciting indoor and outdoor spaces for the children to explore and grow in. We’ve always been proud of our outdoor spaces and even more so when you can see their development from the somewhat bare centres we often started with.
The top photo shows Halswell as a brand new kindergarten in 1994, and below see how the area has developed to create those nooks and crannies that our children love to clamber in, out and around!
No matter what the environment, our fully trained and qualified teachers have always found exciting things to do. See the photo below as our teachers back in the 1990s made the most of the wide open space offered at Halswell Kindergarten.
